Activities
What is canyoning? (full and half day): This high-octane activity is for everyone. You’ll get to explore mountains, vertical cliffs and waterfalls by rappelling and ziplining, jumping into natural pools and sliding down natural waterslides. The nearby coastal mountains of Haute-Gaspésie and the Chic-Choc Mountains are perfect for exploring amazing canyons. Specially equipped, highly qualified canyoning instructors will teach you how to move on the rope and avoid obstacles like large natural pools, even flying over them on a zipline or discovering secret caves. The legendary mountains in the heart of Gaspésie give you the chance to discover their unique environment and clear, emerald-coloured water.
Sea kayak excursion (total duration: 3 hours): Marine mammal observation and evening kayaking to see bioluminescent phytoplankton. Animals to spot: grey seals, minke whales, harbour porpoises, fin whales, humpback whales and more, depending on the season. Equipment provided.
