Summer activities
Hikers have a variety of choices to immerse themselves in nature: on an easy trail in the valley or up to a bare mountaintop that offers a breathtaking view of the park’s mountainous terrain. Trails range from 1 to 17 km, and from easy to difficult. Those seeking a more challenging adventure will enjoy the backpacking trails.
Water activities: fishing, kayaking, canoeing, pedal boating, stand-up paddleboarding.
Guided outings and talks are offered at the Discovery and Visitors Centre and at Lac Cascapédia.
Winter activities
After enjoying a vast array of activities, you’ll head home with memories to cherish forever. Try snowsoeing, backcountry skiing, cross country skiing, high-road skiing. Guided activities also offered. Equipment rental by reservation only at 1 800 665-6527.
Alpine School
The fascinating secrets of the majestic Chic-Choc mountains are just waiting to be discovered! The Parc national de la Gaspésie is offer an Alpine School to provide cold-weather explorers access to the snowy summits. Professional guides bring powder-loving skiers to the best locations, and snowshoers be able to explore rarely visited alpine areas. To further enrich the experience, adventurers meet daily at the Discovery and Visitors Centre to learn new information, exchange tips and share their experiences.
Learn the art of navigating the mountains and be blown away by witnessing Gaspésie from above.
