Broussailles Exhibition
“This unique exhibition speaks of my house, my shed, the undergrowth, my woodland. Through drawings and small installations, I present as much as I develop the relationship I have with these immediate places. I inhabit them. They shape me.”
Élise
From a visual and physical perspective, the exhibition brings together small installations made of wood, plant fibers gathered from foraging, fabrics, or terracotta, a video, a photograph, found ready-mades, drawings, and sculptures. Here and there, the public also discovers four poetic texts written by the artist. The techniques employed include, among others, open-air ceramic firing, pyrography, engraving, and drawing with colored pencil and charcoal.
