LA POINTE MOUILLÉE

A happening by the sea, an open-air artistic event bringing together four multidisciplinary artists: Laurence Lallier-Roussin (Haute-Gaspésie), Caro Morcos (Montreal), Audrée Lewka and Dylan Lafontaine (Bas-Saint-Laurent). This is an immersive outdoor experience to connect with the seaside. From a meeting point on the beach, the public will be invited to enter the universe created by the artists and will be guided through different experiences and performances in situ. The event has a participatory dimension and the public could be invited to join in the game. The creative team is inspired by the ecosensual approach, that is to say the development of an intimate relationship with nature, based on the senses and sensations, as well as the clownish approach: we don’t take ourselves seriously, we make mistakes, we are ridiculous. This happening takes place at the end of a 5-day creative residency by the artists, immersed in the natural environment of Marsoui beach. Rain or shine, artists encounter the seaside, its species, its tides and its waste to find inspiration. This is an inclusive and accessible event where everyone is welcome.
