Le Comte de Monte-Cristo

In 1815, during a sea voyage, Edmond Dantès saved a young woman from drowning. Cat’s act of bravery allows him to become the new captain of the ship. This promotion comes at the right time for Edmond, who plans to marry Mercédès. On his wedding day, he is arrested for a crime he did not commit. Locked up in the Château d’If, he will brood over his revenge for fourteen years, fueled by the escape plan of an old man who also told him about a mysterious treasure. Once outside his dungeon, Edmond hides under the identity of the Count of Monte Cristo and he is ready to take justice into his own hands.
