St. John’s Day with Decorum

Décorum is a sextet featuring woodwind instruments: three cajons, two acoustic guitars, a violin, and a harmonica. It’s folk, it’s rock, with a touch of classical and metal, presented on stage in a festive and unifying atmosphere. Engaging lyrics, both rich in wordplay and tongue-in-cheek, complement the group’s resolutely Québécois artistic signature.

The new show, Touche du bois, makes full use of the group’s unique instrumentation: wild cajons, a stirring violin, fiery harmonica solos, and plenty of guitar chords. It’s an adventure ranging from gentle to brute force, defining Décorum’s unique and surprising style.
