Stompin’ Trees alchemizes raw folklore and Nordic blues to create a joyful tumult that makes you want to dance and sing until the first light. Made up of distinct individuals with diverse backgrounds, the quintet reinterprets in a modern way what music once was; a social bond, a raw force coming from the people. Stompin’ Trees alternately create atmospheres that are sometimes gloomy, sometimes magical. The singer’s gravelly voice and his embodied storyteller’s facial expressions take us on the roads of the territory, through storms of questioning and to meet spectacular characters.
