Located in Haute-Gaspesie, on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, the Cap-Chat Lighthouse is a warm, peaceful, and historically rich place. It’s a unique site where visitors come to pause, reconnect with themselves, and let inspiration flow. They can enjoy landscaped trails, interpretive panels recounting the history of the lighthouse and its keepers, playgrounds, elevated viewpoints, beach access, and the opportunity to explore the lighthouse (exterior view) and the famous Cat-Shaped Rock—all free activities to discover on site.
Accommodation, available year-round, offers a diverse range of experiences: the Keeper’s House and the Triton, two fully equipped chalets that can accommodate 15 and 9 people respectively; rustic cabins; yurts with breathtaking views; and Zen Shacks designed for gentle rejuvenation in harmony with nature. In addition, there are 13 campsites set back from the road, where tranquility reigns. Le Phare Cap-Chat is both a place to stay and a place to revitalize. Occupational health immersions are offered there several times a year, and the property—in whole or in part—can be reserved for gatherings, weddings, or training sessions.
