
David Goudreault – Slam
David Goudreault is a novelist, poet and social worker. The first Quebecer to win the Poetry World Cup, in Paris in 2011, he uses literature as a tool of expression and emancipation in schools and detention centers in Quebec, notably in Nunavik, Tunisia, in Japan and France. Also in 2011, he was the recipient of the medal from the National Assembly of Quebec for his artistic achievements and his social involvement. Since then, he has been writing, telling stories, slamming, confronting ideas on stage and in numerous media.
Au bout de ta langue, his first solo show combining humor and poetry, won the Radarts Prize, the Accès-Culture Prize, the ROSEQ Jury Prize and the Stingray Star Prize as part of the 2018 Rideau Scholarship. He will have embodied this show more than 400 times in Quebec, France and Tunisia.
His new show, In the margins of the text, will be presented on stage until summer 2026.
