Chamade navigates a sonic universe where classical music, French chanson, jazz, Balkan rhythms, tango, and forró intersect. Driven by an irresistible impulse to create a group that wanders and meanders between styles, Gabrielle Cloutier brings together six musicians with distinct and eclectic backgrounds. Accompanied by violin, viola, cello, double bass, accordion, and santouri, she guides this journey with her compositions, poetry, and voice. Following the release of their first EP in December 2023, Chamade is preparing to take the project to a new level with the release of a second album scheduled for fall 2025.
