MoMo

MoMo, a Montreal artist with mixed influences, delicately blends R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop, and Jazz. His introspective lyrics explore the human soul, while his music, enriched by varied inspirations, reveals a unique sonic universe. In 2023, he released “Levant,” an album born from several years of creativity and exceptional collaborations. A multi-instrumentalist (Voice, Piano, Flutes, Trumpet, Melodica, and Percussion), he shapes his compositions using a Loop pedal to create immersive atmospheres, which he performs accompanied by his group of six exceptional artists.

MoMo is also a member of the Zalam Kao collective, recently highlighted as part of the 2025 New Wave program on the show Nouveaux Sons hosted by Nicolas Ouellet, with whom he features on the single “Tout pour toi.” Between French Chanson, Folklore, and World Music, he delivers a vibrant sound, driven by the energy of his native Montreal. As Ici Musique points out, “MoMo is off to a strong start… he elegantly navigates that coveted border between Jazz and Pop.”
