Did you know that in rural areas, nearly 20% of the population still faces difficulties accessing healthcare? To break the silence surrounding this reality, Urgences Rurales 360 (UR360) offers a unique approach: a documentary-circus staged by Les 7 doigts de la main, inspired by 15 years of scientific research on rural emergencies conducted by Dr. Richard Fleet and his team. This project also benefits from the expertise of HUPR and Julie Théberge, recognized for her leadership in Arts-based Knowledge Translation (ABKT), which transforms complex scientific knowledge into accessible and meaningful artistic experiences.
UR360 is an innovative knowledge transfer strategy that transforms years of field research into a unique, powerful, and profoundly human work of art. This project goes beyond the stage: it acts as a catalyst for dialogue and citizen engagement, giving a voice to communities and creating spaces for shared reflection on the future of our rural healthcare.
