Nathalie Dumouchel
Originally from Montreal, Nathalie dropped anchor in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts in 2003 to join her partner, Stéphane, who had the opportunity to collaborate in the start-up of the Avalanche Center. She, who ardently wanted to stay in the big metropolis, took 3 years before deciding to take the plunge. One thing is certain, it was the best decision of her LIFE and a great gift she gave to the region’s arts community.
As soon as she arrived, Nathalie began giving pottery classes at the Maison de la culture for her own pleasure. She loves creating pieces, shapes and playing with colors. Which led him to gradually create his trademark. Her business was born in the early 2000s and she signed her first contract with the Auberge de montagne des Chic-Chocs.
Avant-garde in her field, Nathalie is an important pillar for the arts industry in Haute-Gaspésie and she still shares the same passion today with the people she welcomes to her workshop.
Since her arrival, Nathalie has been well known to everyone. She gets involved in her community by offering pottery classes, sitting on various boards of directors and even preparing her magnificent waffles, to the great delight of everyone. Nathalie is also involved in the organization of the Petit Marché des artisans de la Haute-Gaspésie, a project that is close to her heart.
His dearest wish? May the great family of artisans and the region shine to its full potential and above all continue to make a living from its art, its great passion.
Nathalie’s favorite
“My favorite thing in Haute-Gaspésie is to be facing the river, with my back to the mountains and having the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets in the cove of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts. »
