Ababouiné

Montreal, 1957. The influence of the clergy on the province is considerable. This does not prevent people from wanting a secular Quebec. Michel, 12 years old, has polio and he lives in Le Faubourg. Dreaming of poetry and writing, he spends his days at school and helping an old publisher type books. The Ababouiné collection is almost finished and it risks raising awareness. The manuscript, however, was confiscated by members of the Church. Michel and his friends are ready to do anything to get it back, defying one of the most powerful institutions.
