Claude Rioux – Symphonie chromatique
A brand new exhibition will be presented at the Maison de la culture in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts starting Thursday, March 27. Claude Rioux, a visual artist and craftsman from Rivière-à-Claude, presents the exhibition Symphonie chromatique, a retrospective of the various exhibitions he has held over the past few years. He will present a retrospective of his works and the evolution of his career spanning more than 30 years, exhibiting some of his sculptures.
Also on display are his most recent compositions from the Mythologie collection, which showcases the new pictorial movement he experimented with during his artist residency at the Chapelle de Cap-au-Renard in 2024, L’Art du trait. Combining gesture, nuance, and tone, this visual language communicates emotions in a unique way.
Chromatic Symphony is an exhibition by the artist, which introduces us to his vision of art in full color! Whether through his paintings, drawings, or sculptures, he creates works that inspire the human soul. Whether abstract, impressionist, or surrealist, his works embrace the mystical side he seeks to convey to people, as the vibration emanating from colors is experienced differently by each person, regardless of the content.
The artist will be on hand to meet and chat with you at the opening reception on Thursday, March 27th, for a happy hour. Come discover the works of Claude Rioux at the Maison de la Culture gallery until May 22, 2025.
