Conference with Eric Perron – From Book to Film
Éric Perron has been involved in cinema, journalism and the media since adolescence. His fields of interest became clearer during his studies in cinema at the Cégep de Saint-Laurent in Montreal in the early 1990s. While most moved towards criticism, he positioned himself more as an observer keen to understand the world of cinema. . Over the years, his journalistic practice has taken different forms. Since June 2002, he has directed the writing and development of the quarterly magazine Ciné-Bulles. A communicator without embarrassment allergic to the language of wood, he loves to tell, explain, illustrate, popularize the functioning of cinema in Quebec.
At the end of the conference, participants will have the feeling of having learned a lot about cinema made in Quebec, since the speaker explains all the steps before the theatrical release of a Quebec film.
