For One Last Time – Marcienne Labrie
Watercolor in the Service of Music: An Opening Reception Marked by Generosity
Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, November 7, 2025 — The Maison de la culture de Sainte-Anne-des-Monts is hosting watercolor artist Marcienne Labrie for her final solo exhibition, running until January 17, 2026.
We are pleased to invite the public to the opening of the exhibition “For One Last Time…” showcasing a collection of watercolors where the beauty of the landscapes and artistic sensitivity combine for a good cause.
For this final exhibition, the artist wishes to make a positive contribution: she has selected nine works, the proceeds of which will be donated to the Garage à Musique de la Haute-Gaspésie. This donation will help bring music to the hearts of young people and support this cultural and social organization, which offers free music workshops to youth aged 9 to 17 throughout the MRC.
Marcienne Labrie’s last exhibition at the Maison de la Culture gallery was in the fall of 2017. In this latest solo show, the artist presents thirty works in various formats and unveils her very first painting, created 23 years ago.
Marcienne Labrie holds a certificate in fine arts from the Université du Québec à Montréal. Throughout her artistic career, she has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
Marcienne Labrie invites you to the opening of her exhibition, which will be held on Thursday, November 13, as part of a 5 à 7 event, featuring performances by young musicians from Garage à Musique.

The exhibition will be on display until January 17, 2026, at the Maison de la Culture gallery in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts.
