
Happy outcome – exhibition by Marlaine Henley
A native of Gros-Morne in Haute-Gaspésie, Marlaine Henley had a stroke. This important event led him to a major depression. Life seemed hopeless to him!
Two important people, Suzanne and Rémonde, appeared on the scene in 2003 and suggested that he take painting lessons. It was at this moment that Marlaine discovered a passion that gave her a taste for life again!
Denise and Pierrette Corbeil will be his teachers and they will pass on all their knowledge and knowledge to him. Part of the important collection of Ms. Henley, who has been painting for 21 years, is on display in the foyer of the Maison de la culture from July 4 to August 31. Ms. Henley will be on hand for the opening of her exhibition on Thursday July 4 from 1:30 p.m.
