Juste Robert et Benoit “Shampouing” Villeneuve

Through his colorful texts and with his unique voice, Juste Robert (the sculptor Jean-Robert Drouillard in his role as songwriter) transports us into a world that is both moving and comforting, which some compare to those of Tire le coyote or Richard Desjardins.
His third disc, 𝑇𝑎 𝑡ℎ𝑒́𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑒 𝑠𝑢𝑟 𝑙𝑎 𝑙𝑢𝑚𝑖𝑒̀𝑟𝑒 (January 2022), is a series of poetic, even committed songs. There we find folk structures, slightly rock, sometimes tinged with pop.
At L’Hybride, he will also offer some new songs to be released in 2025. It’s soft, it’s beautiful, it’s intimate and suddenly, bang, it moves!
