Acrobat and juggler Pascal Duguay-Gosselin invites himself into the intimate and velvety musical universe of violist Vincent Delorme. Spontaneous, virtuoso and teasing, the two accomplices invite you to a spectacle as touching as it is breathtaking!
Vincent: Originally from Chambly, Vincent Delorme completed his master’s degree at the Montreal Conservatory of Music, receiving prizes in viola and chamber music, as well as the lieutenant governor’s medal for his remarkable academic and community commitment. Teachers such as Jocelyne Bastien on the viola, Denis Brott in chamber music and Éric Lagacé in jazz are the basis of his bubbling artistic inspirations, which have also been enriched by occasional lessons and master classes with international violists such as as Antoine Tamestit, James Dunham and Atar Arad. Passionate about chamber music, Vincent is a founding member of the Andara quartet, a group with which he takes part in the Quebec musical scene as well as in multiple residencies, seminars and international festivals, benefiting on these occasions from the teachings of European and American masters such as such as Johannes Meissl, Mathieu Erzog, the members of the Cuartetto Quiroga, the St-Lawrence String Quartet, the Alban Berg Quartet and many others. Currently, Vincent is more involved than ever in transmitting music to all audiences, and the messages as timeless as they are concrete that it contains, through various entrepreneurial projects such as the Andara Quartet, the Jazz Minouches Trio, the social circus , teaching, poetry and composition. He also holds positions in several Quebec orchestras, including principal viola and artistic advisor to the Ensemble Volte.
Pascal: Multidisciplinary circus artist, co-producer of Collectif 4237. Recognized in the Montreal scene, Pascal has alternated between social circus projects and international performances for 7 years.
