The workshop festival

We are Camille Trudel (ceramicist) and Julie Lacroix (textile artisan), and we occupy a workshop in the municipal building in La Martre.
Our artistic approach is rooted in the Gaspé region and in the desire to create connections with the community. We are organizing La Fête des ateliers (The Workshop Festival), an event aimed at showcasing our practices and opening a dialogue about craftsmanship. On Sunday, September 21, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., you can freely explore our workshops and watch craft demonstrations! The activity is completely free and open to all.
Afterwards, we will head to the lighthouse site for a festive BBQ. Bring your chairs and drinks; we’ll provide hot dogs.
