La promesse d’Irena
Warsaw, 1939. When the Nazis invade Poland, nurse Irena Gut is deported and forced to work to support the German war effort. Instead of taking the easy route and banking on his status and ethnicity to ensure his safety, Gut risks everything to save a dozen Jewish refugees by hiding them in the house of his boss, a Nazi commander.
