Les charbonniers de l’enfer – F-I FI, N-I NI! (Song)
“Time flies, and it takes its time,” as the song goes. And time has indeed flown… after more than thirty years of joyfully toiling away here and elsewhere on the burning embers of the traditional Quebec repertoire,
30 years of gathering and sharing;
30 years of singing without ever losing their rhythm;
30 years of camaraderie in unison or in harmony;
30 years of getting along well and sometimes waiting for each other.
After all these times of joy and the profound sorrow of losing their beloved Jean-Claude Rossignolet des bois (a nickname for the woodland singers), why not indulge themselves and, at the same time, bring joy to others?
And so, Michel Bordeleau, Michel Faubert, André Marchand, and Normand Miron are returning to the well-trodden paths they have so often traveled. A final tour of their world, in order to offer one last opportunity to see them on stage, in a show directed by the brilliant eye of Émile Proulx-Cloutier.
