Freshly returned from an extensive tour with his band Karkwa, Louis-Jean Cormier won’t be away from the stage for long: he presents Les entretoits, a new solo show that presents itself as a return to his roots.

This new series of solo dates is driven by a desire to go against the grain of Karkwa’s shows: a desire to move away from the noise, to reconnect with his audience, and to rediscover the essence of the singer-songwriter he is. He will draw from his rich catalog in addition to reinterpreting selected pieces by artists he admires—through his own memories, detours, and desires. For the pleasure of reunions, the pleasure of rediscovering himself, the pleasure of playing with other people’s words.
