IREC at Sea Day 2025!

IREC is proud to participate in Sea Day, which will take place on August 24th in Tourelle, Haute-Gaspésie. This first edition of the event will be an opportunity to learn more about the fishing profession and the world of fisheries in the Gaspé Peninsula, as well as to develop ties between the community and fishermen.

For IREC, this event is part of a collective effort to rethink the current fisheries model in order to adapt it to emerging socioeconomic and ecological challenges.
