Mlle Bottine
Following the death of her grandmother, Simone must temporarily live with her uncle Philippe, whom she has never met before. All this while waiting for social services to find her a foster family. The little girl, who had previously been caring for her grandmother and her pets in a beautiful country house, finds herself in the city at the worst possible time, while Philippe must finish composing his new opera sooner rather than later. A work that could well be the main man’s last chance to taste success. Struggling to take care of himself, Philippe is initially reluctant to welcome Simone into his home. Then, the two gradually discover that they may need each other more than they would like to admit. A film by Yan Lanouette Turgeon
