We Will Be Happy follows the journey of Saad, a young Moroccan man living in exile in Quebec, who is ready to do anything to save the man he loves, an Iranian refugee threatened with deportation to his country where certain death awaits him. To attempt the impossible, Saad sets out to seduce an influential spokesperson for the Ministry of Immigration. This dangerous gamble triggers a series of events that are as personal as they are political.
