Plantées – Théâtre témoin extérieur

PLANTÉES is an in situ theatrical show inspired by the essay “The Secret Life of Trees” and the invisible laws that govern the forest. It is the fruit of the application of these physical principles to a collaborative writing process between a hundred anonymous correspondents throughout Quebec. For a year, dozens of correspondents all over Quebec wrote letters to each other. The hundreds of anonymous writings received as part of this project inspired PLANTÉES.
It’s a wandering work that explores those times when love goes from red to black. It is a bittersweet work made of sound, visual and performative installations which unfolds at sunset on the edge of the woods.
At the heart of this intimate ecosystem, there is Noé, 25 years old, who has just hit the ditch with his tank. It is then that her tumultuous relationship with Jimmy resurfaces. It is the shattering of the common core which connects its dreams to its ambitions, its wounds to its mourning. The public is then led to engage in different narrative paths and to follow the figures of Noah who scatter, divide and confront each other.
