Priscilla Guy et Émilie Morin – SKIN (Dance)

Skin is a playful, disorienting, and luminous piece that brings both lightness and curiosity. An unusual choreographic proposition, Skin utilizes screens, video projections, and live editing effects. The artists on stage present a continuous mutation of their image: it is neither about magnifying nor destroying it, but rather about harnessing technology and textiles to create an incessant transformation. All these skins collide and evoke the sensations our skin experiences in the face of a daily bombardment of images. In contrast to a digital world that is often cold and geometric, the performance offers technology as a return to oneself and to touch: an empathetic exploration of the skin’s innermost sensations.
