RAU_ZE

Rau_Ze is a singer-songwriter duo composed of Rose Perron and Félix Paul. A Radio-Canada Revelation 2024-25 and winner of the 2022 Francouvertes awards, the R&B and neo-soul band draws its originality from its diverse influences: from jazz to Y2K pop, including hip-hop, neo-soul, funk, and trip-hop. They approach everyday life and its twists and turns with an authentic vocabulary and the goal of delivering music that is corrosive yet irresistibly danceable, deep, and committed.

On stage, Rose Perron (lead vocalist) and Félix Paul (keyboard) are joined by Henri Bouchard (bass), Juan Espitia (drums), and Julien Fillion (saxophone). Their performances are distinguished by the deep complicity of the instrumentalists and by the versatility of Rose’s vocal interpretations, which unfolds in all its authenticity and passion. Her performances immerse the audience in a delicate balance between sweet bitterness and cathartic explosions.
