Show in the church – Bosquet – Big Crazy Jam
For the second show in the church, we’re hosting the crazy Rimouski band BOSQUET!!!!!! It’s going to be a blast!!! (FREE FOR 50+)
:):):) But that’s not all :):):) Since we have a HUGE CHURCH, we want a HUGE PARTY. Here’s the schedule:
7:00 PM: Léandre, our resident historian, will share historical tidbits about our region while we enjoy a little tasting of local products.
8:00 PM: The SHOW begins.
AFTERSHOW: A great party needs an after-party. So, we had the idea of inviting members of the community to host a HUGE JAM and a HUGE DJ SET. Everyone is invited to play and, above all, to dance as long as possible.
Cost of the evening: The Historical Capsule from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM is FREE for everyone. To access the SHOW, admission is $20 in advance (HERE) and $25 at the door. The entire evening is free for those 50 and over.
Band description: Bosquet is a flexible acoustic quintet rooted in Rimouski. Inspired by the city’s folk punk and blues, their music makes you shout, dance, and want to leave the metropolis for good. Their first EP, “En attendant Kate” (Waiting for Kate), captures their lived experiences and disdain for conformity in song, sharing a sense of rebellion, nostalgia, and a desire to live despite the dystopian inferno surrounding us. But who exactly is Kate?
