Une colonie

It’s the end of summer in the countryside. Mylia, 12, is starting high school. She will have less time to spend with her younger sister Camille and to look after her parents, who frequently argue. In this hostile and unfamiliar place, she will have to find her place. Her cousin introduces her to Jacinthe, an older, more experienced girl with a network of friends. Perhaps by being like the others and joining the ranks, everything will be easier. Her path also crosses that of Jimmy, an Indigenous classmate who is often in her corner.
