Motivated by a common desire for creativity and the pleasure of playing together, Wooden Shapes is distinguished by the arrangement of popular songs and by the composition of its own musical pieces inspired by classical styles, film scores and music popular in a rock style.
Maggie Dudemaine (cellist), William Boisvert (violist), David Beaudry (violinist), Julien Chandonnet (violinist), Étienne Demers (violist) and François Brunelle (double bassist), all students at the Trois-Rivières or Quebec Conservatory of Music, transport you elsewhere by pushing their limits to create never-before-heard interpretations of the music of Queen, Supertramp, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden and more.
