Inspiring portrait – Karine Turgeon and Pascal Roy
Karine and Pascal, a couple of occupational therapists by profession, founded their business by purchasing the land at Le Phare in Cap-Chat. In 2006, they launched the first “Arbre en Arbre” (Tree to Tree) in Eastern Quebec, marking the beginning of their entrepreneurial adventure. After several years dedicated to recreational tourism, they turned their attention to accommodations and camping in 2014, a major turning point that led them to their current project. Now retired from the healthcare system, they are seeing their great dream come true: helping Quebecers achieve greater vitality through preventive health services.
Both passionate about humankind, its resilience, and vitality, they are committed to providing a healthy and revitalizing place where visitors can reconnect with nature while taking care of their well-being. Karine, who loves spending long periods of time in the great outdoors and observing wildlife, and Pascal, a sports and outdoor enthusiast, have always sought to contribute to the influence of their region, which they particularly love. Their future projects? Further developing accommodation, enhancing facilities, and offering innovative health services, while highlighting the lighthouse site and its legends, in an approach accessible to all.
Their shared passion for people and nature drives them to continue innovating, while exploring their own pleasures: from mountain hiking for Karine to watching sunsets for Pascal. Together, they dream of offering their visitors a nourishing experience for both body and mind.
