Sit back and relax while you enjoy the ride and browse the internet in peace.
A daily bus service is available to take you to the Haute-Gaspésie region or back home.
Ferry services
Ferries play an important role as maritime transport providers, offering reliable, safe, and efficient services to Quebecers and visitors alike. There are two main ferries used to reach the Gaspé Peninsula: the Matane ferry and the Trois-Pistoles ferry.
Airports
Take advantage of the airport located in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, which accommodates small private planes or airliners carrying 10 to 30 passengers. There are also two airports approximately two and a half hours from Sainte-Anne-des-Monts that can handle larger aircraft: one in Mont-Joli to the west and another in Gaspé to the east. From there, you can simply take a bus to reach Haute-Gaspésie region.
Recreational Boats
We have three marinas for recreational boats that wish to dock so you can visit us and relax. You can also launch your boat there for a small fee.
There is a marina in Cap-Chat, one in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, and another in Rivière-Madeleine.

Gaspésie National Park Transportation
A shuttle service provides access to the park and transportation within it, facilitating your long or short hikes. Space is limited, so reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 1-800-665-6527 or speaking with the attendants at the Parc de la Gaspésie welcome desk. The service is also available from Sainte-Anne-des-Monts; please consult the park’s website for the schedule.
Taxis
In the Haute-Gaspésie region, we have two taxi services: Taxi Mario and Taxi Marie-Hélène. You can use their services throughout the area, including for transportation within the park at times and periods other than those offered by their own taxi service.
RÉGÎM bus
Public transportation is a service for everyone. Some routes are offered by reservation only, while others are accessible without one. Consult the route schedule for more information. Traveling daily with RÉGÎM minibuses instead of your car could save you a lot of money!
Bike rental at RÉGÎM
For a minimal fee, you can now rent an electric bike with the Gaspé Peninsula Public Transportation Network (RÉGÎM). The electric bike functions like a regular bicycle, but it provides additional power to help you climb hills, travel faster, or go longer. As soon as you start pedaling, the motor will provide optimal assistance based on the terrain and your cadence – no need to fiddle with buttons or shift gears! The bike station is located in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, near the municipal offices.
Please note that there are no rental cars in Haute-Gaspésie only in Matane or Gaspé.
