Inspiring portrait – Clément Vallée

Clément, an outdoor enthusiast originally from Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, grew up in a family of entrepreneurs from the New Gaspé region. His love of nature and the great outdoors ultimately led him to return to Haute-Gaspésie after his studies. The favorable environment and numerous opportunities offered in the region strengthened his roots while nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit that was budding within him.
Clément’s business, Biseak, truly took shape in two stages. First, in Secondary 4, he launched his student fatbike rental business, funded in part through a crowdfunding campaign. After leaving the region for his studies, he worked for two years in a bike workshop, reinforcing his desire to create a true bike shop in the Gaspé region.
In 2020, during the pandemic, he made his dream a reality and officially launched Biseak, a business project that has continued to grow ever since. Today, Biseak has become a reference point for cyclists, combining quality service and five-star hospitality.
Community involvement is at the heart of Clément’s life. A soccer coach and player, and a member of the Youth Commission’s board of directors, he also supports the development of the Chick-Shock Youth Cycling Club and actively participates in the maintenance of local mountain bike trails.
Passionate about learning and challenges, Clément is constantly reinventing himself. Although his future projects remain to be defined, he knows they will always be focused on improving his community and the services it offers to residents and visitors.

“My favorite thing about being here is exploring the area. In no time, you can go to a place you’ve never been before. Whether by bike, camping, skiing, or on foot, the feeling of being far from everything, immersed in nature with an exceptional view, is invaluable.”
