ALICE BRO & VANDER

Vander is of course the last bassist of Les Colocs, who has been working since then with lots of personal projects or accompanying other artists, but for this new show, Vander abandons his bass for an accordion, just to change color … It travels from folk to dub, a strange mixture of which he has the secret. Vander will be accompanied by Simon Dolan (double bass) and Bruno Rouyère (guitar).

Alice Bro Trio is a festive, folky, saucy group, which leaves its audience almost as perplexed as a winter pile-up. Often called the queen of “botches”, the composer of this trio explores the dubious convoys of vulgarity, while expressing deep existential torments. It is by sharing the exhilaration of the moment with Alex Marchand on double bass and Pascal Demalsy on accordion that you will understand the essence of this flamboyant Trio.
