Avalanche Awareness Day 2025
Join us next Friday, February 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Discovery and Services Center (CDS) of Gaspésie National Park for Avalanche Québec Avalanche Awareness Day. Activities will be offered at the CDS all day!
From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
In the morning, join a DVA research practice workshop at DVA park with Anthony and Antoine and enjoy the kiosk with hot drinks!
from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
In the afternoon, attend the “Avalanches 101” workshop-conference (indoor):
– Recognize avalanche terrain
– Basic notions of avalanches
– Safe travel
– What resources to consult?
Park kiosk outside all day to answer all your questions
Everything is offered to you for free!
