Chlorophone – Plant Music
Tuesday, July 1st at 2 p.m. at the Maison de la Culture’s outdoor venue
Chlorophone is a plant music project, creating a symbiosis between digital and biological sources. Initially distributed as a micro-magazine, it now also takes the form of a platform that roams public spaces in search of plants to be amplified with sound. This is an innovative and surprising cultural outreach activity combining art, nature, and science.
Following the activity, there will be a coloring workshop, “Plant Skins.”
Participants will have the opportunity to color the skins while exploring the theme of diversity, while listening to the music of the surrounding plants.
Free activities for ages 8 and up.
