HIDA

HIDA is a Quebec-Peruvian musical trio based in Montreal, comprised of Véronica Hidalgo, Étienne Perron, and Louis-Émile Deschatelets. This collaboration, born from a need to reconnect with their roots, explores nostalgia and the repercussions of a living heritage. The project explores sounds ranging from maximalist indie-pop to intimate acoustic timbres. Influenced by the rediscovery of an inherited language, the compositions touch upon a spiritual quest rooted in introspection.
