In an anything but upscale neighborhood on the Island of Montreal, at the end of the 1960s, Germaine Lauzon was the lucky winner of a million stamps thanks to which she could finally purchase all household appliances, furniture, clothing and other accessories she always dreamed of. When the housewife invites her daughter, her sister and her neighbors to a small evening to help her stick all the said stamps in the numerous order books, jealousy sets in more and more among these women belonging to a late era. to be over.
