PERSÉIDE
Perséide has always drawn on magic and the impression of floating to give a psychedelic character to its retrospective rock music.
If their album “Among the Trees” guided us on a psychotropic hike through an initiatory forest, Perséide leads in 2023 with their new album “Les Couleurs d’été” onto a kaleidoscopic clearing heated by the sun.
As much introspective as it is luminous, the journey offered by the band composed of Louis-Philippe Cantin, Olivier Durand, Daniel Quirion, Samuel Milette and Adrien Lauture is eclectic and draws its influences as much from the pop-psyche of the sixties, from the acid universe folk of flower-power minstrels or even the hypnotism of German kosmische.
Under the cover of texts with a captivating lexicon, Perseide encourages you to bite into the fruit by dealing with escape, the quest for freedom and self-abandonment.
