ABOUT: Sheenah Ko is an Irish-Chinese producer and composer based in Saguenay. Having enjoyed a successful career as a keyboardist, Ko boasts over a decade of experience headlining internationally with bands such as The Besnard Lakes, Bedouin Soundclash, and Vincent Vallières. Now, she channels her talent into producing rich and harmonious music, fusing her skills with analog synthesizers, vocals, and beat production.
With her debut album, Nowhere In Time (2020), Ko stepped into the spotlight, securing a spot in the top 10 of the Canadian Campus Radio electronic music charts. The music video for her single “Wrap Me Up” triumphed at the 2021 UK Music Video Awards, winning Best Choreography (beating Beyoncé) and earning a Juno Award nomination for Video of the Year. In 2022, Ko released her second album, Future Is Now, which won Pop Album of the Year at the 2023 GAMIQ Awards. Her third full-length album, Transformation, released on September 27, 2024, was her first bilingual English-French album, co-produced by Félix Petit (Hubert Lenoir, Klo Pelgag), and reached number 11 on the community and college radio charts in Canada.
