Thee Soreheads

Thee Soreheads is an explosive blend of punk and rock ‘n’ roll, fueled by powerful female anger. Formed in Montreal in 2023, the band quickly made a name for themselves, playing sold-out headline shows and opening for touring bands in the city within their first year. With songs that address themes like heartbreak, sexism, and depression, Thee Soreheads promises to get you moving while also leaving you with food for thought.

The band was born when guitarist Ally Bear was looking for a female vocalist to launch a new punk project. One night at L’Escogriffe in Montreal, Ally crossed paths with Maria (Manella), an indie singer-songwriter. After sharing a few ideas about what the project could be, a rehearsal was held, and Thee Soreheads was born.
