A charismatic comedian and unabashed drag queen, the kind of woman who loves to party, Mona de Grenoble (Alexandre Aussant) is a true party animal! She’s currently preparing her first one-woman show, titled “De la poudre aux yeux” (Smoke and Mirrors), directed by Vincent Léonard (Les Denis Drolet).
“I could have called this comedy show ‘Étalon en talons’ (Stallion in Heels) or ‘Entre Bâton Rouge et aunte’ (Between Baton Rouge and Auntie), but then I realized you’d probably recognize yourselves in my character, whom some describe as flamboyant, bawdy, and financially sound since Big Brother. Because deep down, we all know that glitter, dresses, and big wigs are just smoke and mirrors!” – Mona de Grenoble
After making a name for herself on the stand-up comedy show “Le prochain stand-up,” where she reached the finals, Mona de Grenoble received a nomination at the 2022 Les Olivier Gala for the podcast “Entre 2 lèvres,” which she co-hosted. In 2023, she entered “Big Brother Célébrités,” where she swept the competition, winning both the season and the audience’s favorite award. Following her stint hosting the magazine show “Mona, femme de cul(ture)” on Just for Laughs’ digital platforms, the ever-in-demand Mona de Grenoble is currently a contestant on the popular show “Le Maître du jeu” on Noovo and has joined the regular team of “Véronique et les Fantastiques” on Rouge FM.
